Like the rest of the staff, he has a passion for traveling. He has visited Spain, Gibraltar, Ireland, Germany, Greece, and Hawaii, and is particularly fond of the New Jersey shore and the Maine coast. His travel bucket list includes hiking in Torres Del Paine National Park and eating sushi in Tokyo, but nothing makes him happier than walking on the beach with his wife and dogs in Gloucester, Massachusetts, where he lives.

Carl was born and raised in New Jersey, and holds bachelor's and master's degrees from Emerson College.
