  • THIS HOTEL WAS A GOOD VALUE FOR THE MONEY AT A WEEKEND PRICE. IF PLANNING TO MOSTLY STAY DOWNTOWN (I.E. SOHO), IT'S A GOOD CHOICE.
  • The location was just ok, it was a very desolate area at night. The restaurant and bar was great, however, the staff wasn't that friendly. Also I had to go through inspection every time I entered the hotel because a dignitary was staying there. It was such a hassle.

  • The Ritz-Carlton in Battery Park has an efficient and friendly staff. The rooms are lovely. The internet access is good, making it easy to work there. The food is delicious and creative. Finally, if you are lucky enough to be on the water side of the hotel you will have an exquisite view of the Statue of Liberty and a telescope with which to view it.
  • The location was quite remote and everything closed after 9pm. There was also a VIP staying there and I had to go through a security screening every time I entered the hotel. I don't think I would stay there again.

  • The hotel is close to my NY office in the World Financial Center, making it very convenient for me. For those whose business is not that close, it has always seemed to me to be out of the way of most NYC attractions. The service, food, etc. is spectacular, as one would expect from Ritz Carlton. Given the high quality of service, I find the hotel to be an extremely good value.

  • Excellent value and a great location at Battery Park. Our room had a great Statue of Liberty view, and came complete with a telescope on tripod. Knowledgeable and very friendly staff and the dining facilities left nothing to be desired.
  • In general it was a wonderful experience. The staff were especially helpful and friendly. I would recommend this hotel to anyone in the future.
