The Hilton at University Place in Charlotte, North Carolina, is a perfect location for ACBL Bridge Tournament. We have attended 2 tournaments at this hotel and have found the service and staff to be outstanding.
Location = Great. Somewhat pricy, but like new renovation was good.
a little pricey given the amount of construction. no free wireless connection was irritating
Was close to where our dinner was (downtown). Nice lobby, nice room, good breakfast (NOT complimentary/free). As far as lighting (that I marked less than expected), I don't think I have stayed in ANY hotel in the last couple of years that ALL the lights in the room had working light bulbs, or bulbs with enough wattage.
