The room was comfortable and clean. The only difficulty we had was that we intended to pay for the room with cash-in-hand, and the desk clerk insisted on pre-authorizing our credit card (the only one we have-it's a check card). The funds for the room were in our hand, not in our checking account, and after we paid and checked out, the pre-authorization remained against our checking account, causing several checks to local businesses to be returned as NSF. It took two weeks of calling before I was able to speak with the manager, who arranged for the pre-authorization to be lifted (two weeks later!), but they would not cover our NSF fees or the return check fees from the businesses we patronize daily at home.
Reasonable price for location. Other hotels in area have raised their prices over the years and are too high. Very nice hotel. Clean, friendly, good service. Shuttle bus driver takes good care of us and gets us to and from Expo Center for business on time. Really great service from him.

Holiday Inn Express hotels are consistently comfortable, clean, and trustworthy. They are usually located in areas that I travel, and have all the amenities that I need. I would trust these hotels and choose them virtually anywhere I travel, if available.
