  • Overall nice hotel. Great location. Decor is of a 'modern' motif. It was good, but I didn't think it was a great hotel.
  • This hotel is nicely located to the theater district. The bar is very impressive and nice for meeting friends. The service is friendly/efficient -prompt without being stuffy. Nice views.

  • I am a Starwood Platinum Preferred Guest (with over 50 stays in 2006, and over 40 in 2007), and I am usually upgraded to a suite. On this trip, I was not. It was very disappointing. Each day of my three-day stay I requested an upgrade, but it never came. I cannot imagine that there are many guests that are more loyal to Starwood, in general, and W Hotels, in particular, than I.

  • I always love staying at this property. It's close to everything I want to do and is probably the most exciting hotel in the city.
  • Perfect location; central to a lot of activity. Beautiful rooms, decor, very modern. They fixed a billing problem without argument. Bed and location made it well worth the price.
  • The W Hotel was comfortable, conveniently located and safe. Hotel staff were courteous and efficient.

  • Rooms was small, but it is NY. Had begun some construction or renovation during our stay...elevator access was somewhat frustrating.

  • Did not live up to the hype - tried too hard to be cutting-edge fashionable, rather than comfortable. Room was much smaller than expected from the descriptions and pictures on the web site.
