  • Excellent location. The only thing lacking was the room did not come with complimentary robes as in past stays in other Omni hotels.
  • The hotel room was not prepared in time for my check in and I almost missed my meeting.
  • very nice hotel. convenient to public transportation
  • Location was very good. The parking was a bit confusing and not many sapces for the size of the hotel.
  • I STAYED IN A RECENTLY RENOVATED ROOM AND THE ROOM QUALITY WAS MUCH IMPROVED OVER MY PRIOR STAY.
  • This was a very nice place to stay.
  • The slow check in that Thursday afternoon was a bit insane especially given that I had made my reservation directly through the hotel and not the AHA planners. Room service was also a bit slow one night but they brought me a water at no cost. The kind note and the chocolates were kind in regards to the check in problems but frankly didn't really compensate for what was a very confusing and increasingly frustrating time for many gathered there. I also had to wonder about the price listed for room -- $499 -- for the group rate of $109 it was a good deal but there was far less there for guests than I would expect at such an expensive hotel. For example, breakfast was not included nor were things like complimentary robes (not that I needed one) or some things that scream 'luxury'. Perhaps at the group rate we didn't see the true luxury available but for the full price I would expect a great deal more in terms of service and luxury amenities. Over all it was a pleasant stay after check in and everyone on the staff was very helpful, respectful, and kind.
  • it's like going home to the annual Psychotherapy Networker Symposium in March, and the location is ideal in every way.
  • Middle of the night service personnel were phenominal! [arrived nearly at 2pm, all staff were available and incredible]. Posh, vintage decor; everything was great!
  • historic and yet comfortable rooms sizes
  • Check in was a nightmare. They were very under staffed for the conference. I was checked in about 2+ hours after I should have been check in.
  • very pleasant
  • I have been to this hotel on business several times and it met my expectations.
  • Location is excellent. Service is very courteous and quality of service is good, though a couple of times they were less than prompt in getting to me. I stayed during a very busy weekend so it wasn't a great bother. Food in the fine dining restaurant downstairs is very good, but the speed and quality of table service were lousy.
  • It was well situated in a nice part of town, within easy walking distance of several restaurants and the metro. The staff was very friendly and the room was spacious and well appointed.
  • Love the Omni Shoreham in DC and have attended Symposium there for many years. This year the room was too small and a rollaway bed we requested never arrived.
  • Nice hotel with lovely outdoor pool and sufficient shops nearby.
  • I have stayed many times-- like upgraded room and courtesy
  • We had a good experience at this hotel. It is located near other restaurants, and a nice neighborhood, so we could get out from the week's meetings and not be hotel bound.
  • Front Desk staff needed more training. Check in was a night mare. Arrived 11:00 pm to find all rooms either occupied or 'being cleaned.' Other guests arriving after me were given rooms. I finally made a fuss - asking to speak to the manager (who had been unavailable for a time) and finally got to my room at 1:15 am. Other than that, hotel was good, good meeting setups, proper presentation equipment in rooms, set up stff eager to please.
