  • I've stayed in various Four Seasons Hotels in the USA and overseas. Most of my stays were excellent with no problems at all. However, this last March, I stayed at the FSH NY for the first time. The check-in was fine, the room was excellent, clean and pleasant. Most of the employees were friendly and serviable. However, I experienced a couple of glitches. First, I was told by a front desk clerk that the use of the internet inside the business center was free, it wasn't. I was charged an arm and a leg. Another problem was with the concierge. They were very rude, spoke very little English and got me the wrong information, twice. Room service was slower than expected and the server kept hovering around my room, waiting for a gratuity which was already charged onto the bill. I believe, FSH New York should retrain their concierge and room service staff in better customer service.
