The restaurant was beautiful. The pool area would have been better if it had a jacuzzi and were much larger. The pool area also needed better spatial organization and furniture improvements. The bathrooms in the event center were very nice.
I stayed at the hotel for the James Bond NYE event. I reserved a king size bed well in advance, but was given a twin bed. Another couple in front of me reserved a suite and were told that they were overbooked and would not receive a suite like they had reserved. Because of lack of planning, the food was slow to come out of the kitchen which caused long lines in both event locations. Also, the bar staff ran out of glasses 45 minutes before midnight so plastic cups were passed out. The room was comfortable and I did enjoy my stay, but those incidents didn't give me a favorable opinion of the hotel.
The hotel, itself, was great. We had a plumbing problem that didn't get taken care of very quickly, but it was done after the second request. The view from the pool is fantastic. The hotel staff will deliver you to the nearest subway station. The most disappointing thing was that the directions we received, from the exit of the highway, were unclear. It took us awhile to realize what we needed to do to get to the hotel, and then we couldn't find street signs...
I was in a handicapped accessible room, and every detail of the room was perfect. I highly recommend this facility!
Restaurant hours as provided in notebook in room were incorrect.
I have stayed at this hotel several times and have been pleased every time. Staff is pleasant, rooms are clean. I did not sleep well the last time because of highway noise. Otherwise, a great place.
The room was horrible and when we switched rooms the new one wasn't much better.
