  • The hotel is in a great location and it has really good style.
  • A good choice for a hip, smaller hotel with a fun rooftop 'beach'. Walking distance to lots of things but not right on the water or anything special. Pool is small and crowded during my stay.

  • I like the style of the hotel. I had my birthday party here and paid for a cabana/bottle service for the night. The waitress was really slow. Other than that, my stay at the hotel was nice. The staff was very accomodating to my needs, and I would definitely visit again.
  • Loved it, great location, great service, very much worth the price. The Spa services were also great, go ahead, pamper yourselves.
  • I stay at the W every time I go to San Diego. The one possible issue is that it is several blocks from the convention center. This is walking distance if the event is 1-2 days, but is problematical for week long events.
  • The room was a bit dark for reading. i found it very nice and enjoyable. Wish I had more time.

  • I really enjoyed my stay at the hotel. I loved the decor of the room and public areas. We only had breakfast meals at the hotel and the food was fantastic both times.
  • Its all you expect from a 4 star hotel, but is far from being a 5 star. Expect good service but the facilities could be drastically upgraded.

  • The hotel room was beautiful and unique. I loved the setup of the room, and I loved the ambiance of the hotel. There were so many little touches (fruit in the entryway, changing welcome mats in the elevators) that truly made a stay in this hotel a unique experience. The hotel restaurant was also outstanding. We were disappointed that our room was cleaned infrequently during our stay, and that we had to specifically request that our trash can be emptied. We were also disappointed that the snacks in the room were so expensive, because there was an interesting variety and we would have liked to have tried them. Overall, our stay in the W Hotel San Diego was an excellent experience, and I would stay there again in the future.

  • Good Service, nice staff and rooms very comfortable. Location a little distance from the Gaslamp and restaurants.
