  • Great location. Loved happy hour. Great breakfast.
  • good location. walkable from downtown. relaxing interior. breakfast speed and taste could improve slightly.
  • I liked the fitness room - they have individual television screens for all the aerobic machines. Breakfast is great and the manager's reception is nice.
  • The staff was courteous for the most part. Problems occurred when checking in. We were made to wait while others (relatives attending the same wedding) were given rooms immediately. Room was not as clean as expected. Lights did not work. Fan did not work. Room size was also smaller than expected. Complaints were made to the manager and 1 night compensation was given.
  • My bed was off the frame and I injured myself. The room was not clean and the staff was rude. I actually fell over the frame that was sticking out from the side of the bed. I hurt myself pretty bad of which they flat out didnt care.

  • The best thing about the hotel was the convienience and the breakfast buffet. The hotel staff was friendly and helpful to tourists. The only thing I did not like was the player piano that was close to my room.

  • I liked the location -- easy walking distance of art institute and good restaurants. I wasn't pleased with some aspects of the hotel: our toilet nearly overflowed and the ice machine on our floor wasn't working.

  • The location was good. The lobby and interior was very nice. The room was not fancy but clean and comfortable. The complimentary breakfast and happy hour was excellent.

  • During the check-in process, there were only 2 clerks at the desk. There were over 50 guests trying to check in at the same time. Very poor service, disappointed.
  • Front desk clerk was very rude and told us that 'when she had time' she would look up why we did not have our reservation listed as paid for when in fact we did. The Front desk clerk handed us a phone and said we could check on the problem ourselves. We have stayed at his particular Embassy Suites in the past with no prior problems and have been very satisfied. The hotel manager took care of the problem for us.
  • Beautiful hotel which is well maintained and a pleasure to stay at. I would visit this hotel again.
  • Nice rooms, great location. OK price for a downtown Chicago hotel.
