  • at end of river walk--close enough to be able to walk there--yet away from the noise
  • For the price I expected a much nicer hotel. The original room I was given had beds that had definitely seen better days- they were very uncomfortable. I have never asked to be moved out of a room before, but the next morning I did. The staff was courteous but very nervous and preoccupied when I asked for the room change, not a word of apology. More like, ok- here's a new room. I have stayed at hotels that were much less expensive but provided better laid out rooms (the furniture didn't seem to fit the room correctly), friendlier staff and definitely had better beds. Based on this one experience, I will not stay at a Crowne Plaza hotel again and would certainly not recommend them.
