  • I've stayed here frequently. Like the rooms - high style & comfort for a lower price than the Marriott across the street. Love the tuna tartare at the restaurant/bar. Very nice gym. Don't like that the gym is not consistently open by 6am. Don't like that there's no loyalty program.

  • For the price, internet service should have been included. Also had a problem with the amount charged to my credit card bill, but that was taken care of when I called about it.

  • I made a special request, three months in advance, for a recliner in my room instead of a bed. When I arrived, no one knew what I was talking about and they would not provide one. Also, I put out my shoes to be shined, exactly per their instructions. One of their employees threw my shoes in the trash, and it was only because I called that they went and fished them out of the garbage. I was there for job interviews and I almost lost my only pair of dress shoes! Furthermore, I was not offered any kind of compensation for my trouble/disappointment. I'll never stay at a Loews again--it's not worth the money.
  • The Marriott which is in the same block is a much nicer hotel for less money. The staff is friendlier and the rooms cleaner. I felt the Loews tried too hard to be trendy and/or luxurious, but did not quite pull it off. Also, I have stayed several times at the Marriott and found it much quieter - less rowdy, drunk patrons.
  • Loews is a good company. When I say things are as expected, its because I expect a very high level of service, and these folks came through
  • Good location for downtown; very good rooms although lacked true lobby
  • Great hotel as long as someone else pays. Would not pay to stay here myself.
  • Excellent staff. Well appointed guestrooms and public spaces. Very good housekeeping and Maintenance.
