  • It's perfect in terms of service--awful in terms of value foe the money.
  • Location was difficult to navigate due to parade preparation. Hotel stay was excellent.
  • The is a great hotel. It's in an old bank building located in the center of Philadelphia near many attractions. The Grill restaurant was excellent with an interesting, inventive menu and very attentive staff. Staff wthroughout the hotel were very friendly and helpful. The first night, the room's air conditioner was stuck on 60 degrees (F). The problem was fixed promptly and the engineer then brought us hot tea to warm us up.
  • Had a great view of City Hall; location very convenient for exploring. Desk staff and concierge were terrific.
  • Location was fine. I was disappointed that for the cost of lodging in a high-quality hotel that Internet service was not provided free. The bathroom had not been thoroughly cleaned in some time -- hair and grunge around the baseboards; water damage on the ceiling.
  • The hotel did not live up to the price. The facilities were not on par with what you would expect and room service was terrible!

  • The location is great, right in the heart of downtown Philly. The service at the hotel is average, with the car valet service being very poor. On my last stay, I was billed for the room rate even though it should have been direct billed to the company that was employing me.
  • My stay here was wonderful. Great service, especially the valet parking, which was a huge convenience. But, it was just SO expensive. It's nice, but it should not be quite so pricey for a one-night stay

  • This Ritz was under renovation when I visited Philadelphia. With almost the entire lobby blocked off for construction, there wasn't much life at this hotel, especially since there is no pool. The staff and room itself were both excellent, though.
