Right across the street is the MGM grand,very comfortable room,although staff service was less than expected.
Beds were not very comfortable, and all the rooms smelled of fresh paint.
Stayed before, will stay again.
It was clean enough but needed some repair on the towel rack over the bathtub and the back of the shower spout was loose
It's behind the Strip, which to me is better than being on the Strip because you need some time to prepare yourself for the experience and afterward, you need some time to decompress. One of my favorite off-Strip casinos is next door, Hooters, so that's a convenience as well. Also, the hotel, at least at the time I was there, had a basketball hoop between one of its buildings and the pool area. During this trip, I actually went out to Wal-Mart and bought a relatively cheap basketball just for the experience of playing within view of the lights of Hooters, the MGM Grand, some of the facade in front of New York, New York, the powerful light of the Luxor, and some of the Tropicana, depending on where you stand. We did have some problems with the original room at first, as the phones didn't work and it wasn't really all that roomy enough, so they switched our rooms at our request.
the hotel is conveniently located the staff is exceptionaly friendly, and the property feels very safe.
It was very close to the strip, which made it a convenient location to stay
