We enjoyed the variety of activities available at this resort and its closeness to epcot and MGM studios parks. On the negative I thought the room was a little run-down and that they could have provided more paper plates
One dislike - There is little or nothing within the hotel itself. You need to go to the Boardwalk for everything you need. Such as shopping, food, Etc. Only small coffee shop in the hotel.
Nice size rooms, that were well kept. Trash from previous tenant had not been removed from kitchen area. Tried calling housekeeping to have it removed, but ended up taking it out ourselves as they did not promptly answer the phone. Children loved the pool and slide.
Generally speaking, Disney's service is excellent. However, during this stay at the Boardwalk, we had a dirty room and bathroom several days in a row, although we called Housekeeping and the Front Desk to take care of the problem. We finally spoke to a manager at the Front Desk on our last full day and got an apology, but that was all.
The hotel was in a great location and had a lot of amenities we enjoyed.
A great stay as always. Service & staff are A-1
As a Disney Vacation Club member, we try to get to a Disney park/property a couple times a year. Our favorite spot is the Disney parks in Orlando and the Beach club is one of our favorite places to stay because it is right on the water, the ambiance is terrific, the rooms are first class, and it is within walking distance of Epcot. We have never had a bad experience here or the other favorite places we stay - Beach Club Resort, and Saratoga Springs Resort which is over by Downtown Disney. These rooms have a full kitchen and are truly a home away from home.
