  • Central location in the heart of the strip. Great price received online.
  • my favorite hotel in las vegas. the overall theme and decor of the hotel is very appealing
  • Access to room elevators is difficult, requiring a lot of walking. My wife was experiencing pain in her knees and could have used closer access. The slots are horrible to play, forcing us to go to downtown casinos and to the Wynn.
  • Excellent room and hotel. But I disliked having to walk through the casino to get to the guest elevators -- probably deliberate since most Las Vegas hotels are like this.
  • Nothing special.
  • The Mirage was less centrally located than I would have preferred. However, the room was comfortable, the buffet was spectacular, and having the Beatles Cirque de Soleil show on the premises was wonderful.
  • this hotel is a must for anyone traveling to Las Vegas. It has the overall history of Las Vegas with the greatest staff. Rooms are comfortable, up to date, ect. The resort is beautiful and we plan to stay there again in the very near future
  • VERY SATISFIED WITH THE WHOLE AFFAIR
  • The location is very good. The hotel needs updating since it's tired. The pool area is nice but very crowded. The restaurants are good. The gym is good but expensive. The room bathrooms are small.
  • Prime location right on the strip with excellent restaraunts and nght life. The hotel provides great service through all their employees. The rooms are nice size clean and comfortable.
  • Been there many times visiting my money; always what I expect
  • Good location in center of the Strip. Good pool area. Good restaurants and service. Is kept updated.
  • Everything went as expected except for the check in went a little wrong. I was given the wrong room number and floor at check in and had to return and get the correct room. The Players club staff was very nice and efficient.
  • Check in was horrible. There was a very long wait (almost an hour) and the smoke-free room we reserved was not smoke-free and the card key did not work. After that was all settled, and we were compensated very nicely with a generous food credit, the rest of our stay was excellent. We can't wait to go back.
  • staying here is always a good bet
  • I enjoyed my stay ...good hotel
  • My husband and son had visited Las Vegas in August 2007 and stayed at the MGM Grande. They were extremely pleased with the bright clean, spacious room, wonderfully comfortable beds and cozy comforters. My husband and I visited Las Vegas just this November 2007. Since the Mirage is a part of that chain of hotels, we expected at least the same quality of room and comfortable amenities. We were quite disappointed to say the least. Our bed was as hard as a rock, the comforter was crunchy and hard (not sure what caused that??) and the bathroom was SO small that my husband didn't hardly have room to stand at the stool without having the door touch his behind! We expected the bathroom to be much more luxurious for the Mirage and their reputation. There wasn't even any kind of exhaust fan in there so when we showered, we couldn't use the mirror for almost 15 min or more unless we left the door open while we showered (burrr)! We had to use the hotel blow dryer to try to remove all the steam/fog from the mirror!! Plus there wasn't any kind of heat lamp which is really nice to have in bathrooms without heating vents. We have stayed at Bally's and the Flamingo and both of them were more comfortable and had nicer, bigger bathrooms. We definitely are going back to Las Vegas but we won't be staying at the Mirage again.
  • I love the experience. The staff was very friendly.
  • The service was unacceptable. We stayed at The Mirage for a birthday surprise with five guests and had reserved a penthouse suite (with adjoining room) several weeks prior. We arrived at 1:30pm, and told that our penthouse suite was not yet cleaned and would be ready at 3pm. We then spent the afternoon in their casino and surrounding area, returning to check on the room at 6:30pm. We were given a key to room D-60 and moved all luggage upstairs. Upon arriving at the room, our key wouldn't work because it was already occupied. We returned to the front desk, very disappointed that we still did not have a room to set our bags, unpack and we'd been there for 5 hrs already. After much confusion at the desk, Dean (the manager on duty, and further referred to as Front Desk Manager-FDM) said that he was sorry, the entire hotel was booked and gave us $200 in dining credit. He told us to eat dinner and, upon returning, he would have a room ready and the Mirage staff will have moved our luggage upstairs. We ate dinner at Onda (their Italian restaurant) and continued to have service issues as our entrees didn?t come out at the same time, forcing members of our party to have to eat by themselves while the rest of the table sat and watched. After the meal, we needed to get to our room and clean up to make it to our 10:30pm VIP Entry Tickets at Jet (the hotel nightclub) for our birthday girl. We got our room key (now 9:30pm) from the front desk, and went upstairs to a different penthouse suite (B-29) ? apparently this room had vacated since we had checked in at the desk which meant that the hotel wasn?t completely booked as previously stated by the desk manager. Upon entering our penthouse suite at 9:40pm, which was supposed to be ready 8 hours earlier, the room was clean and looked sufficient until we tried to open the door to the adjoining room ? it was locked from the other side. We initially called FDM to let him know that the adjoining room was locked and to ask the bell desk to bring our luggage to our room, which should have already been in the room by this point. While on the phone with FDM, we could see that a light inside the adjoining room was ?clicked off? meaning someone else was in the room at that moment. We asked FDM to investigate this immediately because we were paying for a suite and adjoining room, and also needed to change before heading downstairs in less than 45mins. We got off the phone and FDM called back ten minutes later stating that indeed there was another couple already occupying that room for the evening. He offered us a single room elsewhere on that floor, or to move the next-door couple into a new room. If we chose for the other couple to move, the hotel would need to clean the room which would require an additional 30-45 minutes until it would be ready to occupy. Extremely displeased with both options, we requested that the other couple should be relocated and that FDM should call us when the room is ready. He stated that he would call my personal cellphone back once the room was ready. It should be mentioned that our continued displeasure with their service was noted to FDM many times on the phone. With the limited time remaining, all five guests used one bathroom to get ready for the evening. At 10:19pm, the FDM called the main penthouse to let us know that the other couple agreed to move. He still could not give us a time that the room would be ready and said that housekeeping would knock on the front door when it was ready. Unfortunately this did not matter much as this point since we needed to leave for our reservations. The FDM called back at 11:20pm to update us with the room status while we were in the nightclub. He stated that the room had been cleaned and was ready to occupy. He also stated that for the inconvenience he would comp us for 50% of the room charge for the first evening. This seemed quite minimal compensation (in addition to the dining coupons for a meal that we couldn?t share together) for the hardship that we had endured during our ?
  • The room was lovely with all of the aminities I could hope for. The veiw of the Las Vegas strip was wonderful. The strip rooms are completely worth the cost.
