  • It is a little too spread out for me
  • Loved it! It could have had an elevator at the resort but honestly that is not big deal!
  • It is big but simple and has everything you would need and is well taken care of. Considering the price it is well worth it.
  • We like the Riverside. Access to downtown Disney and Riverside's food court.
  • beautiful hotel; very kid-friendly; great food court with lots of good choices (can be crowded at peak times); bus transportation to and from the theme parks is okay but is crowded at opening and closing times; nice activities for the kids includes playground, numerous pools, fishing, bike rentals; reasonably priced resort
  • Wonderful Have stayed there numerous times Housekeeping has inproved greatly Look for romms in Arcadia House
  • Nice quiet resort with ample transportation to and from parks. Rooms are spacious with a small refrigerator and double sinks. We did not use any of the pools. The food court has several selections to choose from including a create-your-own pasta bar. The beds are full size with a trundle under one allowing a family of five ample accomodations. Not as Disneyana as the Value Resorts.
  • Loved this hotel! They gave us a free upgrade to a waterfront king bed room for our anniversary! They only issues we had was the sharing of the busses with the French Quarter resort, and the slowness in the Magic Express luggage arriving (came at 2 am!) and a package we had delivered.
  • Always enjoy the WDW Resorts. They are top notch.
  • Riverside resort is quiet, clean, and has a relaxing environment. It was beautifully decorated for Christmas; cast members were helpful, condenial, and very much in the Christmas spirit. The rooms are a bit small and my only real complaint about the rooms is the lack of a balcony. I think that the atmosphere is more geared for adults than for young children--but there is much for children as well. The food is more than adquete and the entertainment in the lounge is good.
  • We were sent to our room which turned out to be incorrect (it did not have the trundle bed as we specifically ordered). Then we had to lug all our luggage back to the front desk along with our 3 young children and then to another room at the opposite end of the resort. To long of a walk after a tiring day of travel. Also someone in the Disney resort park told my 6 year old daughter that if we were staying in a Disney resort Tinkerbell would come to our room...since she lost her tooth that day at the park. I went to the front desk to inquire about this...and they knew nothing about it. I wouldn't have minded as much but my daughter was EXPECTING it because the lady in the park told her she would come!! Also while taking a shower the handle for the faucet fell off and just missed my foot....but it slipped back on easily and worked OK. Otherwise the park was very nice. The buses were very convienent for us. I had read a lot about long waits for the bus...but we only had to wait 20 minutes one night after fireworks when everyone left at once. I did not think this was unusually long. The next bus came along quickly. Bus lines were shorter than ride lines. I was very happy with the bus system and I would stay at a Disney resort again specifically for the bus system. Very clean resorts overall. The grounds were nice. We only used the pool area once but it was nice as well. It was quite a walk from our room to the dinner hall/front desk area. I wish they could have made the paths in a different way, it seemed like we had to snake way around to get there. I don't mind the walk but with the kids you end up carrying them. The rooms with the trundle beds...specifically for small children were all placed very far from the dinner hall/front desk. This seemed backwards to me. Put the little ones closer...the adults who want quiet farther away. Boat ride service to downtown disney was convienent as well. A nice change of pace to take the boat there. It went fairly quickly and had a nice scenic path to arrive there.
  • The WDW package for travel, accomodations, and dining is the way to go to Disney World. Everything is included and you are free to enjoy all of the parks with no hassels.
  • Has free transportation to other resorts/parks/shopping.
  • Room was not computer friendly -power source and DSL hook up. TV needed replacing. No between hotel transportation which restricted the restaurants you would select. Riverside is an excellent location even if you are last at every bus stop. I also don't understand Disney's desire to fleece you at meals and when paying $18 for a six pack of Corona (one clerk tried to charge us $28). By the way this was our last trip to Disney.
  • When chcking in we had booked a handicapped room it is not very handicapped accessible. The lift did not go under the bed and for my daughter husband and I they gave us a king size bed. It should have had 2 double beds. It was not convenient luckliy we shared an adjoining room with my other daughter and it worked out.
  • Everything was great. My only complaint was internet service was $10 for 24 consecutive hours.
  • HOTEL VERY NICE,INFORMATION NOT TOO EASY TO GET WITH OUT WAITING IN LONG LINES, PEOPLE MOSTLY FRIENDLY.
  • The reservations staff did not take into account the requests we made prior to our arrival to have a room close to the main building. This is very important, as my wife and I both have vision impairments, and may have difficulty finding our way to the main building from a distance. No real accommodations were made for us, and only after a lengthy letter to the company did we get any kind of recognition of our difficulties (though no compensation for them).
  • The rooms were clean, comfortable, and well decorated. The staff was friendly, knowledgable and always helpful. The landscaping was beautiful and relaxing.
  • arrived they had problems pulling up my reservation even though i had email print out. I arrived at 3pm and my room was not ready till almost 6pm was very unhappy as i had to kill time and keep checking back was a far less than magical experience
