  • We loved our experience at the Doubletree Metorpolitan. The location in Manhattan was perfect for our needs, especcially with the subway below. The walk to shops and shows was not bad at all. The hotel was fantastic with great customer service and the breakfast in the restaurant was good. The room was clean and large for a New York room. The elevators were a little slow, but otherwise we had a great stay and would highly recommend the Doubletree Metropolitan again.

  • The location of this hotel was very convenient, as it is right on a few subway lines and within walking of some attractions. Upon arrival, the staff were very quick to acknowledge me and process my check-in. At that time, my scheduled room was not yet clean, so they offered me a different room with a larger bed. The fitness room was adequate with equipment, however I discovered the hotel does not have a swimming pool. The housekeeping staff thoroughly cleaned the room. At night, a hotel guard is stationed at the elevators, to attempt to keep non-guests out of the lodging area.
  • Reception staff was helpful but did not communicate well with one another. Housekeeping staff is some of the best I have ever experienced. Room service is also excellent. Hotel property is sub-standard but room and staff are very very good.

  • Great location and newly renovated hotel. Rooms are a little smaller than other Hilton chain hotels in NYC. Higher rooms are quieter since they are away from the noise of the street.

  • Location was perfect; we could walk to Rockefeller Center, Times Square, and Central Park. The room was comfortable, but not outstanding. The blinds broke on our first day and no one fixed it during our stay, but we were too busy to notice. The in-hotel restaurant was not impressive; food was just okay and somewhat overpriced. The bar onsite wasn't great either; not a good selection of wine/beer/premium liquor, so we went to another hotel bar around the corner. Overall, though, a great place to stay.
  • The hotel was average. The rooms were very small and the view was not so good.
  • WE STAY EVERY YEAR FOR THE BIG EAST BASKETBALL TURNAMENT AND HAVE NOTHING BAD TO SAY BUT THE PRICE.
  • The bed were so comfortable! I don't think I have ever slept in such a comfortable bed. One of the fuses in our room was blown and it took awhile to get it fixed. We also didn't get a cookie upon check-in, which I was disappointed about. The staff was extremely friendly and the hotel was very clean!
