Everything was fine
The location was very convenient, very close to shops, restaurants and RIT. The staff was very accommodating to all of our needs.
The room was much older than I expected and had older fixtures and worn-in flooring and furniture. The sleep number bed was unpleasant. The elevator was out of order. The halls, rooms, and furniture were all stained or had bleach spots. The heater kept coming on all night (for only a few seconds) even though it was turned off. The staff was not concerned that I wasn't able to sleep because of the heater (talking to receptionist in morning). Overall, I could have stayed in the motel6 down the street for a third of the price and twice the luxury. The location was prime, I was attending an event at the college where this hotel is located.
The public areas smelled somewhat of smoke.
