the htel was convenient to all the parks. Our accomodations were nice. The service was great
it waas high priced, needed more for a older crowd, and room service was not the greatest.
Wonderful
It was our Honeymoon and we were treated like royalty. The view was spectacular and the room was beautiful. The bed was so comfortable!
This is the perfect hotel to stay in with small children or for those that are going to frequent the Magic Kingdom a lot. There is the tram right through the center of the hotel that is just a short trip to to Magic Kingdom. The room that we stayed in had a flat screen TV, compter, and the most comfortable bed that I have ever slept in in a hotel. I would highly recommend this hotel and would definitely stay there again.
Our hotel room's sleeper sofa did not have a mattress when we arrived. We were informed that there were no more mattresses, so one of our party had to sleep on a roll-away bed instead (and we had to wait a while before the roll-away bed arrived). We were assured the problem would be fixed the next day. The next night, there was still no mattress. We were surprised, since we had heard Disney service was supposed to be excellent. This time, when we spoke to the staff, they immediately gave us a new room - on the exclusive 12th floor (which includes far better amenities). So, in the end, everything worked out and Disney's famed service saved the day! The Contemporary Hotel has been beautifully remodeled and is extremely conveniently located near the Magic Kingdom and monorails. We would definitely stay there again, even though we would love to try all the different resorts!
The location of the hotel was wonderful. We could walk to the Magic Kingdom, which was a big plus. I found the room to be very noisy though (we were directly over the monorail and a restaurant). Also, the room was very stylish, but not very practical. There were four of us, and very little space to unpack our clothes. There was no dresser, only two small drawers by the desk. The front desk was very friendly though and overall we enjoyed our stay, but I don't think I would stay there again. The price is just to high for the amenities you get.
