I booked the event for 30+ people. The event staff never checked on us to see if everything was OK. I had received superior treatment at the Gallery One DoubleTree in Ft. Lauderdale, FL and expected the same in Orlando.
There wasn't much around the immediate area except Universal Studios. Hotel was fine - wireless internet access was available in all guest rooms.
It was literally across the street from Universal Studios. After my conference we were able to go to the amusement park quickly and easily. It was a beautiful hotel and very clean. Everyone was very helpful and attentive to our needs.
I was very impressed for an older hotel to have been remodeled and maintained at such a high level. Emloyees were very helpful and courteous
Hotel was comfortable and located conveniently near major highways, universal studios, and an outlet mall.
room/setup was less than ideal
