  • I enjoyed the proximity to some prominent locations in San Antonio. However, while the rooms have recently been 'renovated and repainted', the room numbers were simply balanced on the window frame on the outside of the room, and were prone to falling over or being stolen, so identifying rooms was a challenge. Also, the television in my room was old and the tint was off - everything was red or pink, and there was no way to change the tint. I think the TV was just old or damaged. The front desk clerks were less than polite, and seemed to be annoyed that the process of checking in was interrupting their personal conversation. There were problems with the door keys (the old 'punch style' key card). When I asked a staff person to help me get into my room because I had been unable to, she rolled her eyes and reluctantly assisted me. If you are looking for a cheap place where you can just sleep and shower before you head out for whatever, then this is the place for you. If you're looking for some quality, please continue your search.
  • Good location, convenient to area attractions. Very nice room for the price, comfortable & clean. Housekeeping did not leave fresh linens in the bath or re-stock the coffee supplies, but it was obvious the room had been cleaned thoroughly, particularly the bath. I would definitely stay there again.
