Excellent manager handling of our problem (hotel was overbokked, due to a wedding; we did not have the correct room that was per reservation for the first night of our stay). Manager made sure the rest of our stay, our room was correct (actually better than reservation), at internet price. Also furnished food coupns for the dining room.
THE FIRST DAY AT THE HOTEL THERE WAS NO HOT WATER SO THEY FIXED IT AND GAVE US ONE NIGHT STAY FOR FREE.
Everything was all right except for the parking situation. I need a handicapped spot and all these spots were taken by employees or people using the bar whom the management did not want to disturb.
Good location.
Refrigerator that was confirmed not available, had to wait for a higher manager to straighten out. Handicap parking taken by non-handicap cars, a Continental and a Cadillac, (we have handicapper plates and my wife uses a walker. The staff on at the time (evening)would not call the police or go into the resteraunt to check who was parked in spaces. The hard wired internet was not working, and only an unsecured wifi available, although the on line did not indicate this. I had to use a hard wired computer at another location. I have complained to Holiday Inn in writing, but to date have never heard back. I guess the independants that are full can get away with this. On our next trip there will will be staying at the Marriott.
There's not much to say about my particular stay at Holiday Inn. I usually stay at Holiday Inn when I'm visiting Boston and it was just like every other visit--no complaints, everything was to my satisfaction.
