Rooms were lovely for the price. Hotel room was quiet, we slept well. Heat/Air units were tricky we were either freezing or sweltering.
I serve as president for the organization that was holding an annual meeting and found the staff one of the best to work with. Layout is odd but service is great.
Staff was usually very friendly and helpful although there was a problem with a missed wake-up call. Unfortunately, too many events were scheduled on the same weekend, making it excessively noisy and crowded at the hotel.

EXCELLENT FRONT DESK AND HOUSEKEEPING PERSONNEL. LOCATION WAS CONVENIENT IN REGARDS TO FREEWAY, BUT LIMITED, THOUGH ADEQUATE, CHOICES AS FAR AS RESTAURANTS AND SERVICES. BUSINESS CENTER WAS NOT ADVERTISED AND I WAS NOT AWARE OF IT UNTIL LAST DAY OF STAY. PRINTERS WERE VERY POORLY MAINTAINED, BUT WHEN I MENTIONED THIS TO FRONT DESK, THEY PRINTER MY MATERIAL AT THEIR PRINTER. TV REMOTES IN FOUR DIFFERENT ROOMS EITHER DID NOT WORK AT ALL OR VERY POORLY. NO IMPROVEMENT WITH NEW BATTERIES OR WITH REPLACEMENT REMOTE. RESTAURANT WAS EXTREMELY POOR. VERY POOR SERVICE (NOT AT ALL BUSY), OUT OF MANY CHOICES, SALAD BAR INADEQUATELY SUPPLIED. THERE WERE MULTIPLE MISTAKES WITH THE ORDERS AND NO EFFORT WAS MADE TO CORRECT THEM OR OFFER COMPENSATION. RESTAURANT WAS CLOSED DURING SEVERAL MEAL TIMES.
Wonderful little touches, eye mask, linen spray etc. Very pleasant stay
The most outstanding thing to us about the Crown Plaza in Cromwell (although I'm sure they're all the same) is the bed. Every year we visit in Connecticut and we always stay at the Crown Plaza because of the bed. It's the most comfortable bed and pillows we've ever experienced at a hotel, and we've traveled at lot in our day.
