Q: What is elite status, and how do I qualify for it?
A: Elite status is a special package of benefits and rewards accorded to an airline's very best customers. Typically, a traveler reaches the initial elite tier when he or she has earned 25,000 miles on the host airline, or on the host airline's preferred airline partners, during a calendar year.
