Q: When do the miles I've earned appear in my account?
A: It depends.
Expect miles earned on the airline that operates the program to be credited within 24 hours after a flight. Partner airline miles are often credited almost as quickly, but it can sometimes take several weeks. Miles for hotel stays and car rentals typically take longer still, usually between four and 12 weeks.
