On Greyhound, Kids Travel For Free or 40 Percent Off
Families can save on Greyhound bus travel with discounted kids' fares. Greyhound is the biggest bus company in the U.S., connecting more than 3,100 cities and towns in North America.
When using Greyhound service, babies ages two and under travel free when sitting on an adult's lap or for 40 percent off the standard adult rate when occupying their own seat. Kids ages two to 11 also ride for 40 percent off the standard adult rate. To qualify for these discounts, the child must ride on the same itinerary as the paying adult. Up to two kids per adult may travel at the 40 percent off rate.
For more information, go to the Greyhound website. Tickets may be purchased online or over the phone at 800-231-2222. You can also buy tickets at Greyhound terminals or through a travel agency.
