When to visit HonoluluWith sandy beaches and year-round warm weather, Honolulu is an ideal vacation destination. The most popular time to visit is in the summer, when families are traveling and honeymooners take time off. Visitation also rises during the holiday period from mid-December through mid-January, as schools are on break and people are on vacation. Fewer people visit during the shoulder seasons in late spring and fall, when school is back in session. However, in recent years, the high seasons are becoming longer, which is almost eliminating shoulder seasons. Visitation is lowest in the late fall and winter (except for holidays), but pleasant weather, fewer crowds, and lower prices make them ideal times to visit. read more
