National is featuring several promotions valid through December 15. Amongst them, you can save on weekend car rentals and receive a free upgrade.

The Deals

• Take $20 off a weekend rental of a compact through luxury vehicle, minivan, SUV, or convertible for three to five days by using the coupon code "NF1998JAP." You must rent by December 15 and a Saturday-night keep is required.
• Receive a free car-class upgrade on compact through standard rentals through December 15 with coupon code "NU1234NAJ." A Saturday-night keep is required, and rentals may last a maximum of five days.
• If you're looking to rent a car for a longer term, National offers $100 off a two-month rental with $50 off for each month you rent beyond the two-month period. The offer is good for up to 11 months. Use rate code "WBM2."

In order to determine the most cost-effective option, you should be willing to experiment with different deals based on your desired dates. If your travel is last minute, be sure to consider National's last-minute specials.
