Alamo is featuring several promotions for fall and winter travel.
The Deals
- This fall, weekend compact car rentals are just $20 a day at airport locations. Midsize cars are $24 a day, while fullsize are $28 and premium $30. Reserve your car at these rates for up to four days of travel with a Saturday-night keep required. Pick-up your car as early as 9 a.m. Thursday and return by Monday morning. Enter "7014691" in the I.D. box at check-out. Rent by December 12.
- Almo is offering one free car class upgrade through December 15. This offer is vaild on compact through midsize vehicles. Use coupon code "AU2729MJW" to receive your upgrade.
- Through December 15, take $15 off three-day weekend rates on compact through luxury class car, minivan, SUV, or convertible rentals with coupon code "AD6969JDA." Rentals may start anytime after 9 a.m. Thursday and must be returned by Monday morning. A Saturday-night keep is required.
- A general tip for saving money with Alamo is to consider pre-paying for your car rentals. While you can't use a debit card, and you must make your reservation at least 24 hours in advance, the benefit is you'll save 10 percent on your entire rental rate.
In order to determine the most cost-effective option, you should be willing to experiment with different deals based on your desired dates. If you're traveling soon be sure to consider Alamo's last-minute specials as well.
