2-In-1 Portable Potty & Trainer Seat Review: A Potty That Fits in Your Diaper Bag

2-In-1 Portable Potty & Trainer Seat Review

Price and Where to Buy 2-In-1 Portable Potty & Trainer Seat: $25 on OneStepAhead.com

Pros: 95 percent of the population is not going to see the phrase “a potty that fits in your diaper bag” as a pro, but for the five percent of people with recent and current potty-training kids, the possibility of always being ready to respond to the, ahem, needs of your young kid is a huge, liberating pro. Better still, it converts from a stand-alone potty to a toilet seat adapter. And that’s key for turning any scary toilet into a kid-friendly potty.

Cons: To make it a stand-alone potty, you’ll need bags, and though you can cheat and jury-rig a small trash bag (the cheaper, but potentially messier option), the bags to go with it sell for $7 for a 10 pack.

How i2-In-1 Portable Potty & Trainer Seat Rates:

  • Usefulness: 10/10. A true civilizing force in the diaper-free quest, this go-anywhere, dual-purpose potty frees toddlers from dirty gas-station bathrooms, side-of-the-road squatting, and loud-flush toilet temper tantrums.
  • Value: 9/10. $25 seems like a reasonable price to pay in order to avoid totally preventable elimination accidents when you travel. Especially when you’re somewhere unfamiliar or in a place where restrooms are scarce, having an instant option can transform travel with young kids.
  • Durability: 9/10. I didn’t throw it down a hill or anything, but the potty was dragged around a lot and the potty-topper fell on hard floors more than once without any damage.

Final Verdict: Young kids know that when you’ve gotta go, you’ve gotta go. This potty makes that a manageable truism, not a terrifying threat.
