Visitors to Japan should get ready for their close-up when new anti-terrorism security measures go into effect on November 20. According to TravelMole.com (registration required), visitors will be fingerprinted and photographed, and will also be asked “a series of probing questions regarding the person’s stay in Japan.”

The new rule doesn’t apply to travelers younger than 16. Japan’s embassy in the U.S. has all the details about the new program, including a step-by-step photo demonstration of the process.
