Finally, an airline extra worth paying for!
American Airlines announced yesterday it will test in-flight broadband on its 15 Boeing 767-200 aircraft early next year. The broadband test will be conducted on transatlantic routes, but could expand if the early results are good.
According to a report in USA Today, American says its pricing hasn't been determined, but the service "will be slightly more expensive than ground Wi-Fi hot spots."
Needless to say this is fantastic news for those of us with Internet addictions.
