American introduces round-trip flight check-in
American has started letting customers check in at the same time for both the departure and return segments of round-trip flights when the return segment occurs within 24 hours of the departure.
Flyers can check in online at American's website. The benefit here, in addition to being a time-saver, is that it could put passengers who take advantage of the new feature in a better position to get an upgrade or a standby flight.
