As if we needed another reason to love JetBlue... The airline on Saturday launched its "Bigblueweek" promotion to celebrate six years of flying. (Six years? Really? They grow up so fast!) Anyway, the anniversary promotion is a week-long "instant-win game" offering prizes ranging from a fully loaded Acura MDX (yes, please) to a DVD copy of the movie Robots (not so much with the wanting it, but thanks anyway).
"We've been rewarded with incredible customer loyalty since we began flying February 11, 2000," says David Neeleman, JetBlue's CEO. "This is one way we can say 'thank you' to the world's greatest customers."
Is it a cheesy, gimmicky promotion aimed at cheap publicity? You bet. Does that make it any less enticing? Nope. To be eligible to win, you need to join JetBlue's "True Blue" loyalty program (it's free) and then try to win a prize each day through Friday. You can play once a day. But keep your hands off my Acura.
