Get $50 for Gas With Expedia

If you’re anything like me, you’ve probably spent so much time dreaming about a vacation that you still haven’t booked anything and it’s now the middle of summer. Well, before you decide to pitch a tent in the backyard and turn your vacation into a staycation, you might want to check out Expedia’s latest promotion. If you book three consecutive nights at a participating hotel, you’ll receive a $50 prepaid Mastercard to help pay for the cost of gas. It’s as if the procrastination gods are urging you to take that getaway by bribing you with gas money.

You must book by July 27, 2010, and the offer is valid for travel before August 31. Just look for the “Expedia Extra” graphic next to hotels, and remember to include your shipping address on the booking confirmation page to receive your bonus cash. The Mastercard can be used everywhere debit Mastercards are accepted. The offer isn’t valid on Marriott hotels, and is subject to availability.
