Norwegian goes all out for Valentine's Day

Norwegian is feeling the love as Valentine's Day approaches. The cruise line has put together special menus, treats, and packages for its mid-February cruises. You can still book a cabin on one of seven Valentine's sailings.

In Le Bistro, Norwegian's French restaurant, a special six-course Valentine's menu will start with champagne and end with a choice of strawberry and chocolate layered crème brûlée or cheesecake St. Valentine. Specialty cocktails will include a "Chocolate-Covered Strawberry Martini" and the "Valentine's Kiss." At bedtime, every woman will find a flower on her pillow.

If you're really in the mood, you can order special romance packages for your sweetheart. Package prices range from $79 to $329 and may include spa treatments, breakfast in bed, sparkling wine and delicious snacks, and a keepsake photo.

Norwegian's seven Valentine's cruises depart between February 8 and 12 and visit the Caribbean and Mexico. Fares start at $419 for a five-night western Caribbean cruise, $549 for a seven-night western Caribbean cruise, $679 for an eight-night Mexican Riviera cruise, and $999 for a nine-night southern Caribbean cruise. For an even more romantic getaway, splurge for a suite. Norwegian claims the most romantic suites can be found on its Jewel-class ships.
