New transportation options to the Brooklyn cruise terminal

With all of the new air safety regulations, it can be a hassle to fly to your cruise port. To give guests another option, Princess is introducing motorcoach service from several Northeast cities to the Brooklyn cruise terminal. Guests can start their vacation with Princess long before they arrive at the ship.

The new motorcoach service will begin in May 2007, in time for the Crown Princess’ summer Caribbean cruises from Brooklyn. For $100 to $155 round-trip per person, guests can ride air-conditioned buses from their hometowns in the Northeast to the Brooklyn terminal.

Each route departs from a major city and stops in several others on the way to Brooklyn. The pickup points are listed below:

Route one: Washington, DC; Baltimore, MD; Wilmington, DE; Philadelphia, PA; and Burlington, NJ.

Route two: Harrisburg, Lancaster, Reading, Allentown, and Easton, PA.

Route three: Boston, Worcester, and Springfield, MA; and Hartford, CT.

Route four: Providence, RI; and New London, New Haven, and Bridgeport, CT.

The buses travel in the reverse direction for the post-cruise ride home. The motorcoach service will be available from May 12 through October 13, 2007. That gives you plenty of time to re-learn your favorite bus songs.
