Holland America extends European cruise season

Europe cruises are so popular that cruise lines are looking for ways to offer more sailings in the region. Holland America has solved the problem by extending its European cruise season. In 2007, its ships will sail Continental waters from mid-March through early November. Five ships will journey on 46 different itineraries, offering one-third more sailings than in 2006.

Want more impressive numbers? Holland America ships will call at 136 European ports (including 13 new ones) and offer 82 departure dates. New ports-of-call include Djupivogur, Iceland; Sochi, Russia; and Koper, Slovenia. Holland America also offers stops at less-visited ports such as Lorient, France; Lubeck, Germany; Peterhead, Scotland; and Greenwich, England, as well as several cities in Slovenia and Albania.

You can secure your ride on the ms Westerdam, ms Rotterdam, ms Veendam, ms Maasdam, and ms Prinsendam as early as today. And, if you reserve a cabin by the end of September, you’re eligible for early-booking savings of 10 to 30 percent off brochure rates. Call 877-724-5425 or a travel agent, or visit Holland America’s website for more information.
