NYC to Hawaii $424 R/T? Yes, but Not For Long

To promote its new nonstop flights from New York/JFK to Honolulu, Hawaiian Airlines is offering fares of $212 each way (plus tax) in coach or $808 in first class. (In case you're wondering how Hawaiian arrived at those figures, check area codes for New York City and Hawaii.)

Connecting fares to other islands will also be available. Starting in June, nonstops will take about 10 hours in Hawaiian's A330s; westbound flights will leave mid-morning and returns will be overnight red-eye flights. Move quickly if you're interested; these fares won't last long.
