Earn 5,000 JetBlue Points for Latin America/Caribbean Flights
Earlier this week, Delta rolled out a bonus-mile promotion for flights to Latin America, Mexico, and the Caribbean, between September 2 and December 11.
At the time, it was the only mileage incentive on offer for those routes, during that time period. No more.
Between September 2 and December 11, TrueBlue members can earn 5,000 bonus points for JetBlue flights between the U.S. and Latin America, Mexico, and the Caribbean.
To qualify for the bonus points, flights must be booked by September 2.
Registration is required.
Deal or No Deal
TrueBlue points are worth between 1 and 1.3 cents apiece, so that 5,000-point bonus can be worth as much as $65. Not bad as rebates go, especially if the qualifying ticket was at the cheaper end of the price spectrum.
How does JetBlue's bonus compare to Delta's? Depending on the route and class of service, JetBlue's 5,000-point bonus is either equal to or greater than Delta's bonuses, except for one scenario: Trumping JetBlue, Delta is offering 10,000 bonus miles for first/business-class flights to Mexico and Latin America.
Either way, it's nice to have options.
